How do we know that the celebration of Purim is important for Christians?

The institution of Purim in Esther commemorates the Jewish people's deliverance from Haman's plot to destroy them, a powerful illustration of God's providence in saving His people. For Christians, this celebration reminds us of our own redemption and places emphasis on the importance of acknowledging and remembering the acts of deliverance God has accomplished.
