How do we know that the church has the truth?

The certainty that the church has the truth is founded on its adherence to the Scriptures, which are the inspired Word of God. In John 10, Christ assures us that His sheep hear His voice; thus, those who belong to Him will recognize and respond to the truth of His Word. Additionally, the church, equipped with the Holy Spirit, has the responsibility to faithfully teach and uphold the doctrines of the faith as they have been handed down through Scripture. The church acts as a guardian of these truths, affirming them through consistent and sound teaching while also exhibiting the fruits of the Spirit in community life.
