We can trust in the doctrine of the Word of God as it is described as perfect and true, fundamentally shaping our understanding of God and His salvation (Psalm 19:7-10). The Word of God does not contradict itself; rather, through careful study and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, it reveals profound truths that resonate with the believer's experience. Furthermore, the effective work of the Holy Spirit in converting and enlightening our minds confirms the reliability of Scripture. When we come to believe the truths in God’s Word, it transforms our view of ourselves and of God, providing assurance of its truth.
