How do we know that the gospel is the true message of salvation?

Answered in 1 source

The gospel is true because it is God's ordained means to reveal His saving grace through Christ as the core of the message.

The certainty of the gospel's truth lies in its divine origin and consistency throughout scripture. The gospel has remained unchanged since eternity, being rooted in God's eternal covenant confirmed in Christ. As the Apostle Paul emphasizes, our confidence is not in human wisdom but in the power of God that saves. Paul explains in 2 Corinthians 4 that the light of the glorious gospel of Christ shines on those whom God has called, overcoming their spiritual blindness and bringing them to the saving knowledge of Him. The transformative effects of this gospel in the lives of believers further attest to its truth and power.
