How do we know that the Holy Spirit is not helpless?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible reveals that the Holy Spirit is all-powerful and actively at work in the lives of believers.

Contrary to the misconception that the Holy Spirit is helpless, Scripture affirms His omnipotent nature. Romans 8:11 states, 'But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies.' This illustrates that the Holy Spirit has the power to give life, fulfill God's purposes, and equip believers for their walk of faith. The Holy Spirit's work is integral to the believer's life, enabling them to overcome sin and live righteously. Thus, we are called to recognize His might and abandon any doubts about His ability to accomplish God's will in our lives.
