How do we know that the law is established through faith?

Answered in 1 source

The law is established through faith in Christ, who fulfills the law on behalf of His people (Romans 3:31).

In Romans 3:31, Paul poses the question, 'Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid; yea, we establish the law.' This establishes that while faith in Christ does not nullify the law, it actually confirms and fulfills its demands. Christ's sacrificial work satisfies the righteousness the law requires, allowing believers to walk not in the flesh but in the Spirit. By embracing faith in Christ, believers become capable of producing the fruit that fulfills the law's righteous requirements. Thus, faith and Christ's authority establish the law in the lives of believers.
