How do we know that the Lord provides for us?

Answered in 2 sources

We know the Lord provides for us through His promises in Scripture, particularly in Matthew 6, where Jesus assures us of God's care for our needs.

Matthew 6:25-26 affirms that the Heavenly Father cares for us, using the illustration of how He feeds the birds of the air, reminding us that we are of much greater value. In the context of Psalm 23, the Lord as our shepherd assures us that we shall not want, which extends beyond physical needs to our spiritual well-being. This provision highlights God's faithfulness, urging us to seek first His kingdom and righteousness, trusting that all our needs will be met (Matthew 6:33). His ongoing provision is a testament to His love and commitment to us as His people.
