How do we know that the promises of God are trustworthy?

The assurance of God's promises lies in His unchanging nature and the fulfillment of these promises through Jesus Christ. As stated in 2 Corinthians 1:20, all the promises of God are yes and amen in Him. This means that Christ embodies the fulfillment of God's word, thereby providing us with certainties in our faith. Our confidence in these promises is strengthened by the character of God who is faithful, unchanging, and always abides by His Word, allowing us to trust in His declarations and truths.
