How do we know that the signs in Exodus point to Christ?

Answered in 1 source

The signs serve as foreshadowing of Christ's work of redemption, revealing our need for Him.

The signs God gave Moses in Exodus demonstrate a powerful prefiguration of what Christ would accomplish. For instance, the transformation of Moses' rod into a serpent illustrated how Christ, who was without sin, took on our sinfulness, becoming the lowest among men. The serpent, often seen as cursed, symbolizes sin and Christ's willingness to bear our iniquities. Additionally, the leprous hand signifies the contagion of sin and the need for cleansing, which Christ provides full well when He touched the leper. These signs not only established Moses' credibility but also pointed to the ultimate credibility of Christ as our Deliverer who cleanses us from all sin.
