How do we know that the truth is in the minority?

Answered in 1 source

Throughout Scripture, the truth is often depicted as being in the minority, as seen in examples like Noah and the early disciples.

The biblical narrative repeatedly illustrates that the truth of God's Word is often embraced by a remnant rather than the majority. Historical examples such as Noah, who saved only eight people during a time of widespread wickedness, corroborate this. Similarly, at Christ’s ascension, only a small group of disciples remained faithful. The consistency of this theme throughout Scripture serves as a reminder to believers that acceptance by the world may not reflect the veracity of their faith. Instead, the true follower of Christ may often find themselves at odds with societal norms and beliefs, highlighting the importance of remaining steadfast in their confession of faith.
