How do we know that the ungodly will not prosper?

Answered in 1 source

The ungodly are compared to chaff that the wind drives away, illustrating their lack of stability and ultimate judgment.

Psalm 1:4-5 contrasts the fate of the ungodly with that of the righteous. The ungodly are like chaff, insignificant and easily swept away, lacking any true foundation. As a result, they will not stand in the judgment nor be found among the righteous when the time comes for divine accountability. Their fleeting existence on earth starkly contrasts with the lasting fruitfulness of the righteous who are sustained by God’s blessings.
