How do we know that there is no condemnation for believers?

Answered in 1 source

Believers are not under condemnation because their sins were dealt with through Christ’s sacrifice, as stated in Romans 8:1.

The assurance that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus is foundational in the Christian faith. Romans 8:1 proclaims, 'There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.' This assurance is anchored in the truth that Christ bore the punishment for our sins, as expressed in Isaiah 53:5, 'He was wounded for our transgressions; He was bruised for our iniquities.' The act of Christ dying in our place means that justice has been fulfilled, and therefore, believers are no longer subject to the penalty of sin. This highlights the significance of Christ's sacrificial love and underscores the grace given to the elect.
