How do we know that there is no condemnation in Christ?

Answered in 2 sources

There is no condemnation in Christ because His sacrifice fulfilled the law's demands and provides righteousness to believers.

Paul proclaims in Romans 8:1 that 'there is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus.' This declaration is rooted in the gospel message that Christ has paid the penalty for sin, removing the condemnation that rests upon those under the law. By taking on the punishment for sin, Christ fulfilled the law and imputed His righteousness to believers. Therefore, those who are in Christ do not face judgment but are seen as righteous in God's eyes. This assurance gives comfort to all believers struggling with sin, as we rest in the grace that is offered through faith in Christ.
