How do we know that true faith is genuine?

In Matthew 7:21, Jesus warns that not everyone who calls Him 'Lord' will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Genuine faith is demonstrated by 'doing the will of the Father,' which includes believing in Jesus Christ and following His commands.
