How do we know that we are a chosen generation?

Scripture makes it clear that believers are part of a chosen generation, as mentioned in 1 Peter 2:9, where it states that we are a royal priesthood, called out of darkness into God's marvelous light. This identity is not based on our merit but solely on God's sovereign grace, which has selected us to be His people. The whole narrative of redemption through Christ culminates in our new identity as the Church, collectively set apart to glorify God and serve Him. This awareness of being chosen should lead us to walk worthy of this high calling individual and corporately.
