How do we know that we are among God's chosen people?

Answered in 3 sources

We are God’s chosen people when we recognize His mercy and love in our lives, confirming our relationship through faith.

The assurance of being part of God's chosen people is found in the understanding of His covenantal relationship with us. In 1 Samuel 12:22, it states, 'For the Lord will not forsake His people for His great name's sake, because it hath pleased the Lord to make you His people.' This indication of God’s pleasure in choosing His people highlights the profound grace that is offered to those who believe. Likewise, Hebrews 8:10-12 reiterates God's promise to be gracious towards those in the covenant, ensuring that their sins are remembered no more. Therefore, the evidence of being among God's chosen people can be seen through the transformative work of the Holy Spirit in one’s life, leading to faith and obedience to His Word.
