How do we know that we are delivered from the bondage of sin?

Answered in 1 source

We know we are delivered from the bondage of sin through the sacrifice of Jesus, symbolized by the Passover lamb.

The deliverance from the bondage of sin is a central theme of the gospel, reflected in the Old Testament typology of the Passover. Just as the Israelites were saved from slavery in Egypt by the blood of the lamb, so too are believers saved from sin through the sacrifice of Christ, referred to as the Lamb of God (John 1:29). This deliverance is both an act of grace and a fulfillment of God's promise. As Galatians 1:4 articulates, Christ gave Himself for our sins to deliver us from this present evil age. Therefore, through faith in Christ's blood and His resurrection, believers can confidently affirm that they are not under the law's condemnation but enjoy freedom and new life in Christ.
