How do we know that we are friends of Christ?

In John 15:15, Jesus declares that those who obey His commands are His friends. This relationship is built upon mutual trust and shared knowledge; Christ reveals His will to His friends, unlike servants who are only aware of their master’s immediate tasks. True friendship with Jesus involves a genuine commitment to live according to His teachings, and our obedience signifies our love for Him. It's not merely a title; it comes with the expectation of bearing spiritual fruit as evidence of our discipleship.
