How do we know that we are justified by faith and not by the law?

Answered in 1 source

We are justified by faith through Christ, as the law cannot justify sinners because all have broken it.

In Deuteronomy and its New Testament commentary in Galatians, the reiteration of the curse for lawbreakers underscores human inability to perfectly uphold the law. Paul in Galatians 3:10-11 establishes that no one can be justified by the law since it highlights our failures and consequently brings a curse. Justification comes through faith in Christ, who fulfilled the law on our behalf, as stated in Galatians 3:6-9, where Abraham's faith was counted as righteousness. Thus, we see the transition from the law, which condemns, to grace through faith, which justifies and blesses those who believe in Christ’s redemptive work.
