How do we know that we are part of God's work?

Answered in 1 source

Being part of God's work is evidenced by a stirred heart and a willingness to engage in His mission.

The confirmation of being part of God's work is closely tied to the responsiveness of our hearts to His call and burdens. In the book of Ezra, when the Persian King declared the need to rebuild the temple, it was said, 'Everyone in whom the spirit of God has stirred your heart, go and do the work.' This implies that true participation in God's endeavors comes not from mere obligation but through divine prompting. It reflects the transformation that occurs when one is saved, as God begins to implant a desire for good works within us, aligning our will with His (Philippians 2:13). In essence, those who are part of God's work will exhibit a genuine mind and heart to engage in the tasks He has set before them.
