How do we know that we are partakers of the divine nature?

Answered in 1 source

We know we are partakers of the divine nature through the grace of God and the work of the Holy Spirit in us, producing spiritual fruit.

The assurance of being partakers of the divine nature is rooted in the promises of God and the transformation that takes place in believers. In 2 Peter 1:4, it states that God has given us exceeding great and precious promises to enable us to escape the corruption of the world. The fruit of this divine nature is evidenced through our growth in virtues such as knowledge, temperance, and patience, which the Lord cultivates within us. It is through these fruits that we see the work of the Holy Spirit, confirming our identity as children of God.
