How do we know that we are saints according to the Bible?

Answered in 1 source

Saints are those whom God has called and set apart for Himself through Christ's work.

Biblically, a saint is defined as a sinner made holy by the work of God. Ephesians 1 reveals that we are chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world, thus establishing our identity as saints. The sanctification process, through the blood of Christ, makes us holy, righteous, and accepted by God. This doctrine directly contrasts with the belief that we can contribute to our sanctification; it affirms that our status as saints is entirely a result of God's grace and the redemptive work of Christ.
