How do we know that we are sanctified in Christ?

Answered in 2 sources

Believers are sanctified in Christ as they are set apart and gradually transformed into His likeness.

Sanctification in Christ is grounded in the believer's union with Him, which is evident in passages like Ephesians 1:3-6. This union signifies that believers are chosen and predestined to become like Him, affirming their secure position in Christ. The works of the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer confirm this sanctification process, as they guide and empower us to pursue holiness despite our ongoing struggle with sin. Thus, we can be assured of our sanctification as we actively press on towards the calling that God has placed on our lives.
