How do we know that we are transformed after redemption?

Answered in 1 source

We know we are transformed after redemption because we are said to put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge after Christ's image.

The transformation that occurs post-redemption is expressed in Colossians 3:10, where believers are told they have 'put on the new man.' This transformation is a work of God’s grace, allowing us to live differently. It involves not only a change of status before God but also an ongoing process of sanctification, where we actively seek holiness and purge the leaven of sin from our lives. Thus, this change should be evident in a believer's life through a desire to pursue righteousness and live in obedience to God’s commands.
