How do we know that we are true disciples of Christ?

Answered in 3 sources

True disciples of Christ are known by their continual engagement and dependence on His Word.

According to John 8:31-32, Jesus stated that true disciples are identified by their continued presence in His Word. This means that a true follower of Christ not only acknowledges His teachings but actively lives by them. The heart of a genuine disciple is one that delights in God's commands, understanding that obedience reflects their relationship with Christ. Consequently, the testament of our discipleship is demonstrated through a life committed to seeking, studying, and living out the teachings of Scripture as articulated in promises of God's faithfulness.
