How do we know that we are true disciples of Christ?

According to John 15:8, our discipleship is evidenced by the fruit we bear. This fruit is a product of our relationship with Christ, as we abide in Him and allow His words to shape our lives. True disciples of Christ are marked by their obedience to His commands and their love for one another. This is not a means of earning salvation, but a natural outflow of a genuine faith and a heart transformed by grace. In essence, our love and obedience reflect our connection to the true vine, which is Christ Himself.
