How do we know that we are under grace?

Answered in 1 source

We know we are under grace through the assurance of God's Word and the work of Christ that frees us from sin’s dominion.

Understanding that we are under grace comes from the revelation of Scripture, primarily through Romans 6, which articulates the power of grace in the believer's life. In verse 14, Paul declares that sin will not have dominion over us since we are under grace. This assurance is grounded in the finished work of Christ, who paid the debt of our sin and has set us free. Furthermore, the Holy Spirit confirms this truth in our hearts, enabling us to recognize the transformative power of God's grace in our lives, leading us toward sanctification and away from sin's grip.
