How do we know that we are washed by Christ?

The assurance of being washed by Christ comes through faith in His promises and acknowledgment of our own sinfulness. As indicated in the sermon, when we come to Him needy and believing in His washing power, we receive the glorious assurance of forgiveness. This is articulated in passages such as Titus 3:5, where we are reminded that our salvation is not by works but through His mercy and the washing of regeneration by the Holy Spirit. Therefore, our confidence in being washed is rooted in faith, trusting that His blood, shed for us, cleanses us completely.
