How do we know that we can have peace with God?

Answered in 1 source

Peace with God is through Christ, who reconciles us by His sacrifice.

We can have peace with God through Jesus Christ, who accomplished this reconciliation by His sacrificial death on the cross. Colossians 1:20 states, 'Having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself.' This indicates that our peace with God is not achieved through our efforts but is solely the work of Christ, who bore our sins and satisfied divine justice, allowing us to be reconciled to God and enabling us to cease our warfare against Him.
