How do we know that we're saved and not condemned?

Answered in 1 source

We know we're saved and not condemned because those in Christ Jesus walk after the Spirit, not after the flesh.

Believers are assured of their salvation and lack of condemnation by the presence of a new nature within them. Romans 8 indicates that those who are in Christ walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. This walking after the Spirit manifests a transformation in conduct and desire, confirming that one has indeed been called out of spiritual darkness. The presence of this new man indicates that God has imparted a new heart, enabling the individual to live according to God’s will, free from the condemnation of sin.
