How do we know that we should seek the Lord now?

Answered in 1 source

Today is the time to seek the Lord because there is no certainty of tomorrow, as reinforced in James 4:14.

The urgency of seeking the Lord is underscored by the fact that tomorrow is not guaranteed. James 4:14 emphasizes that we do not know what tomorrow will bring, urging us to make the most of the time we have. The Lord is near, waiting to hear our pleas and grant us grace, but this opportunity is limited. Isaiah 55:6 advises us to seek the Lord while He may be found, showcasing the importance of immediate action in our spiritual lives. By seeking Him today, we lay the foundation for eternal fellowship with Him, rather than risking spiritual neglect.
