How do we know that we will be accepted by God?

Answered in 1 source

We are accepted by God in the Beloved, Jesus Christ, who is well-pleasing to Him (Ephesians 1:6).

Our acceptance before God does not depend on our performance or good works; instead, it is solely based on our union with Christ. As Ephesians 1:6 states, we are accepted in the Beloved. This means that God sees us not in our own failings, but through the righteousness of His Son, which was imputed to us. Therefore, believers can have confidence in their acceptance because it rests on the perfect obedience and sacrifice of Jesus, who fulfilled all righteousness on our behalf.
