How do we know the authority of Christ is true?

Christ’s authority is substantiated by His miracles, which serve as evidence that He is the promised Messiah sent to save His people. Nicodemus acknowledged, 'We know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him' (John 3:2).
