How do we know the blessings of God are for us?

Answered in 1 source

We know God's blessings are for us through His covenant promises and the work of Christ.

The assurance of God’s blessings for believers lies in the covenant relationship established through Jesus Christ. Romans 8 emphasizes that if we are led by the Spirit of God, we are sons of God and heirs with Christ. This inheritance is confirmed by the predestination and adoption discussed in Ephesians 1:5, which assures believers that they have been chosen and accepted in the beloved. The faithful promises made by the Father to the Son extend to all who are united with Christ, ensuring that the blessings of the covenant also belong to them. Therefore, confidence in our blessings is based on Scripture and God’s unchanging character.
