How do we know the blood of Christ brings us near to God?

Answered in 1 source

The blood of Christ is the means by which those once far off are made nigh, providing reconciliation and justification before God.

Ephesians 2:13 states, 'But now in Christ Jesus, you who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.' This underscores the central role of Christ's sacrificial death in reconciling sinners to a holy God. His blood not only addresses the penalty of sin but also establishes a new relationship where believers are seen as part of His body, similar to branches in a vine (John 15). This vital connection means that through His sacrifice, we are given direct access to God, justified and accepted.
