How do we know the blood of Christ is essential for peace?

Answered in 1 source

The blood of Christ is essential for peace because it provides the means for God's justice to be satisfied while allowing for forgiveness.

The notion of peace with God is fundamentally tied to the blood of Christ, as expressed in Hebrews 13:20. The blood represents the sacrifice that reconciles a holy God with sinful humanity. Hebrews 10:11-12 clarifies that while the offerings of the old covenant could not take away sins, Christ's one sacrifice did. Therefore, through His blood, God is just while also justifying the sinner, allowing for true reconciliation and peace. Our acceptance before God is based on Christ’s completed work.
