How do we know the blood of Christ is necessary for salvation?

Answered in 1 source

The blood of Christ is essential for salvation because, according to Scripture, without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness.

Scripture teaches that redemption cannot occur without the shedding of blood. This principle is rooted deeply in God's covenant established from the beginning. When Adam and Eve sinned, God proclaimed death as a consequence. The blood of animals, as seen in the tabernacle sacrifices, was a foreshadowing of the greater sacrifice that Christ would make. Thus, the necessity of Christ’s blood is affirmed throughout the biblical narrative as the ultimate solution for sin. The blood of Jesus, being perfect and sinless, is the only means by which humanity can be reconciled to God, highlighting not only the cost of sin but also the grace found in His sacrifice.
