How do we know the church is protected by God?

Answered in 1 source

The church is described as God's sanctuary and is measured for protection in Revelation.

In Revelation, when John is instructed to measure the temple and the worshipers, it signifies God's protection over His true church. This measurement sets apart God's people from the unclean or profane. As stated in 1 Corinthians 3:16, believers are the temple of God, where His Spirit dwells, ensuring their safety. This divine protection reassures believers that, despite suffering and trials, they are secure in Christ.
