How do we know the church will not fail in its mission?

The assurance that the church will not fail in its mission is rooted in the understanding that its power and effectiveness are derived from God, not from human strength or numbers. Revelation 11 highlights that the church is represented by two witnesses, symbolizing its sufficiency to fulfill God's purpose. Christ Himself is the light, and as long as the church holds forth His message, it cannot fail. This is analogous to Gideon’s army, which, though small, was empowered by God to achieve victory.
