How do we know the effectiveness of God's call?

Answered in 1 source

God's call is effective as it is a divine action that results in the transformation and salvation of those He calls.

The effectiveness of God's call can be assured because it comes from God Himself. In the sermon, it is emphasized that when God calls a sinner, that call is effectual; it cannot be returned void. This aligns with the understanding that God’s word will accomplish what He intends it to do, as seen in Isaiah 55:11. The response of the disciples illustrates this, as they left their boats and families without hesitation upon hearing Jesus' call. Through this perspective, we see that God's call transforms hearts, leading individuals from death to life, and from darkness to light.
