How do we know the elect will not be deceived?

Answered in 1 source

The elect will not be deceived because God's sovereignty ensures their preservation through His divine purpose.

In verses 22-24 of Matthew 24, Jesus reassures that 'except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.' This statement affirms God's control over tribulation and His commitment to safeguarding His chosen people. The elect are distinguished by God’s unwavering grace, ensuring they remain true amidst the falsehood and deception prevalent in the world. Because of His work in their hearts, they will hold fast to the truth of the Gospel and will not ultimately be led astray.
