How do we know the Gospel is being preached?

Answered in 1 source

The Gospel is being preached when the message exalts Christ and delivers the truth of God's righteousness.

A true Gospel message centers around the person of Jesus Christ, emphasizing that righteousness is not through works but through faith in Him. Paul emphasized in Romans that Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to all who believe (Romans 10:4). In a world full of false teachings and zealous pursuits that reject the Gospel, discerning God’s truth is crucial. Believers know the truth through the unction of the Holy Spirit, which teaches them all things and reminds them of Christ’s sufficiency and salvation (1 John 2:20-21). A Church that preaches this truth and exalts Christ is where God is truly present.
