How do we know the gospel is God's and not man's?

Answered in 1 source

The gospel is referred to as 'the gospel of God' because it originated from His divine purpose and plan.

Paul distinctly identifies the gospel as 'the gospel of God,' which signifies its divine origin and intent. It is not a construction of man’s imagination or effort, but rather a revelation of God’s will and purpose to redeem His chosen people. The uniqueness of the gospel lies in its origin; it was devised and executed by God, exhibiting His inclination to show mercy and forgiveness to guilty sinners. The consistent theme throughout Scripture is that salvation is orchestrated by God’s sovereignty and grace, affirming that it is a gift rather than a reward for human merit.
