How do we know the gospel is more than just a message of judgment?

Answered in 1 source

The gospel is rooted in grace, offering life and hope through Christ, even amidst the judgments described in Revelation.

While the vials of wrath emphasize the judgment that comes from rejecting God, the gospel itself is a message of grace and life. Jesus Christ, the fountain of living water, satisfies the deepest needs of our souls, offering a transformative relationship rather than mere judgment. The gospel's essence is to reveal God's mercy amidst His holiness and judgment. By grace, believers are taken out of the judgment and placed into a relationship with Christ, who embodies hope and salvation. Therefore, the narrative of judgment through the vials does not negate the gospel's overarching message of grace but rather reinforces its beauty and necessity in a world lost in sin.
