How do we know the gospel is the true message?

Answered in 2 sources

We know the gospel is true because it originates from God and is affirmed through the resurrection of Christ.

The gospel is credible and true because it is not merely the message of men but originates from God Himself. In Galatians 1:12, Paul asserts that he received the gospel directly from Christ, highlighting its divine authority. The resurrection is central to this truth; if Christ did not rise from the dead, as stated in 1 Corinthians 15:14, then our faith is futile. The consistent testimony of Scripture throughout both the Old and New Testaments affirms that the gospel of grace is the only way to salvation, and it must be accepted on the grounds of divine revelation.
