How do we know the gospel is the true message of God?

Answered in 2 sources

The gospel is true because it is based on the revelation of Jesus Christ, as declared through the Holy Scriptures by God.

Paul asserts that the gospel he preaches is not of human origin but revealed by Jesus Christ Himself. The significance of this gospel is underscored by its foundation in the prophecies and promises made by God through the prophets in the Scriptures. Furthermore, Paul's insistence that any deviation from this gospel is a perversion highlights the seriousness of adhering to the true message. Therefore, the truth of the gospel lies in the authority of God and His unchanging word.
