How do we know the grace of God is not a license to sin?

The grace of God is not an invitation to sin, as Paul addresses in Romans 6:1-2, where he asks, 'Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? God forbid!' True grace, as outlined in Scripture, produces a transformation in the believer's life, steering them away from sin rather than towards it.
