How do we know the Holy Spirit is involved in our prayers?

Answered in 1 source

The Holy Spirit intercedes for us in prayer, helping us express what is in our hearts even when we cannot find the words.

In Romans 8:26, we learn that 'the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.' This demonstrates the Holy Spirit's essential role in our prayer life, especially when we find ourselves incapable of articulating our needs. He helps us in our weaknesses and brings our unspoken concerns before God. The Spirit's ministry shifts our focus from ourselves to Christ, guiding us to pray with faith and sincerity. Our prayers may feel small or unworthy, but when empowered by the Spirit, they are significant in His view.
