How do we know the Holy Spirit is present with us?

Answered in 1 source

We know the Holy Spirit is present because He enables us to realize our need for Christ and guides us in truth (Romans 8:5-16).

The presence of the Holy Spirit is confirmed in the believer’s life through various means. Romans 8:5-16 explains that those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. The Spirit influences our desires and inclinations, redirecting them towards spiritual truths rather than worldly concerns. Additionally, the Holy Spirit aids believers in understanding and remembering God's Word, brings comfort during trials, and produces spiritual fruit in our lives, which manifests as evidence of His work within us.
