How do we know the Holy Spirit is real and with us?

Answered in 1 source

We know the Holy Spirit is real and manifests Himself through believers, guiding them into all truth.

According to Jesus in John 14:17, the Holy Spirit is the 'Spirit of truth' who dwells with believers and will be in them. This signifies a fundamental relationship; while the world cannot recognize or receive the Spirit, believers do, as He brings a profound understanding of Christ. The presence of the Holy Spirit is evidenced by a believer's confession of Jesus Christ and an internal transformation that aligns their life with God's truth. As believers reflect on their lives and the work of the Spirit, they gain assurance of His presence and influence.
