How do we know the importance of ministers in the Church?

Answered in 2 sources

Ministers are essential as they are called and gifted by God to preach His message for the edification of the church (Ephesians 4:11-12).

Ministers play a vital role in the life of the Church, as they are appointed by God to preach the Gospel and shepherd His people. Paul highlights in Ephesians 4:11-12 that some are given as apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers to equip the saints for the work of ministry and the building up of the body of Christ. They are stewards of the mysteries of God and are called to be faithful, ensuring that the Gospel is preached accurately and powerfully. The Church benefits when ministers faithfully uphold their calling, serving as vessels through which God's grace and truth are communicated to His people.
